Begin your day in the Chattanooga Valley with a plentiful breakfast of comfort food, Southern-style, at St Francis Cottage. First, settle in with a cup of freshly brewed organic coffee or tea at one of the dining tables or a cozy chair by the fireplace in the Great Room while you read one of the many available magazines. Or, if the weather allows, take your cup and stroll out to a table on the back deck and let the songbirds gently serenade you while hummingbirds and other species flock to their feeders. As you start the morning with fresh, cut fruit and toppings, each day we prepare a savory entree featuring a wide variety of egg-based dishes and sides. Top it all off with a special homemade, sweet breakfast dessert. We highlight a different, tempting waffle, pancake, or french toast each morning. You may choose any or all of these three delectable courses.
Since you have come to St Francis Cottage to get away from it all, we try to be flexible to accommodate your preferred dining time. Although 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m are our standard breakfast hours, other times may be scheduled by prior arrangement.
Let us know with your reservation if you have special dietary needs, and we will plan ahead to prepare tasty foods to meet your diabetic, heart-healthy, gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian or vegan dietary restrictions. We serve local and organic foods whenever possible, and several varieties of fruits, berries, vegetables and herbs are grown right here at the Cottage. Believe us, you will not walk away from the breakfast table hungry!
Our weekend meals will always be a hearty, appetizing breakfast as described above, with the weekday menu sometimes set up buffet-style, featuring one or more of a variety of scrumptious breakfast sandwiches, quiches or casseroles with sides.
