Breakfast at St Francis Cottage
Begin your day in the Chattanooga Valley with a plentiful breakfast of comfort food, Southern-style, at St Francis Cottage. First, settle in with a cup of freshly brewed organic coffee or tea at one of the dining tables or a cozy chair by the fireplace in the Great Room while you read the newspaper. Or, if the weather allows, take your cup and stroll out to a table on the back deck and let the songbirds gently serenade you while hummingbirds and other species flock to their feeders. As we prepare your selected entrée, check out the morning buffet with freshly baked scones, muffins or sweet breads, vegetable sides, yogurt parfait, fresh fruit, oatmeal with the trimmings, and juices. If you prefer breakfast in your room, we will gladly deliver your tray for an additional $10 service fee.
Since you have come to St Francis Cottage to get away from it all, we try to be flexible to accommodate your preferred dining time, although the following are our standard breakfast hours: Sunday - Saturday: 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Other times may be able to be scheduled with prior arrangements.
Let us know with your reservation if you have special dietary needs, and we will plan ahead to prepare tasty foods to meet your diabetic, heart-healthy, gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian or vegan dietary restrictions. We serve local and organic foods whenever possible, and several varieties of fruits, berries, vegetables and herbs are grown right here at the Cottage. Believe us, you will not walk away from the breakfast table hungry!
Our weekend menu offers a hearty, appetizing breakfast selected from at least two entrée options while our weekday menu may be set up buffet-style, featuring an assortment of scrumptious breakfast sandwiches, quiches or casseroles with sides.
